For insulated terminal crimp die coded.
 
Red............ 22-18 AWG / 0.5 - 1.0mm
Blue........... 16-14 AWG / 1.5 - 2.5mm
Yellow......... 12-10 AWG / 4.0 - 6.0mm
 
Dies are colour coded for most popular red, blue and yellow colour insulated terminals. 
 
This tool is designed so that the handles will not open until the crimp has been completely compressed. Should an improper start require reopening the dies, the ratchet release should be pushed upward.
